Well this year hasnt been to bad of a year for movie fans. I looked over the releases of the year and have come up with a list of the movies that i actually enjoyed this year.
Although this list doesnt contain movies that i havent seen or movies that were to craptacular to make it into my wonderful LJ.
Ohh and there in the order they were released not order of favourites.
Elektra: Chick in tight Red Leather who could possibly complain. The action wasnt too bad either all in all a passable movie.
Alexander: BARELY passable but i couldnt not add it as im an absolute lover of medieval war films and there werent many this year!
Million Dollar Baby: Not my usual type of movie but this was all in all an excellent film and i would recomend it to anyone wanting to watch a good film.
House of Flying Daggers: HAHA this was cool crazy arsed asians throwing (heat seaking) knives. The action was cool and the knife throwing kicked arse so i totally dig this film.
Constantine: Not a great film but not too bad was entertaining for the 2.5 hours but certainly wouldnt waste money buying it.
Ong Bak: This is a thai film but the action in it is BRILLIANT loved every second of it although it had a really bad story :P but it was all about the action.
Assault at Precinct 13: This was just a decent shooting film that was good for a small amount of entertainment but once again not worth owning!.
Hostage: Better than AAP13 but once again nothing really mind blowing.
The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy: For an film based on much older text it was brilliantly done and very very amusing the robot kicked arse and for someone who hasnt read the book it told the story perfectly.
Kingdom of Heaven: Not a bad attempt at a medievil war film. Orlano Bloom is gay but meh the action and fighting was good.
Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. I had been waiting for this movie for years and years and years being the HUGE star wars nerd that i am and this movie was fantastic and i loved every second of it much improvement on the previous 2 and would be one of the best of the year in my opinon.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Meh nothing too bad nothing too good only good for one watch and you would never watch it again.
Batman Begins: Great Batman film, batman being the greatest super hero of all and this being a return to good movies after the terrible attempt with arnie and the poison ivy chick. Loved this movie a lot.
Madagascar: More american animated stuff but this one wasnt too shabby the penguins were funny as.
The War of the Worlds. One of the only Tom Cruise movies that i actually like even though he still is a twat.
Sin City: Awesome movie Totally loved it definately will get the extended edition through any means necessary.
George A. Romero's Land of the Dead: Ahhh what a movie, what i violent blool bath of a movie. Prob one of the best zombie films for a while in my opinion.
Kung Fu Hustle: HAHA this was gold, so so very funny. And there was the guy in the background that looked like LEON hahahaha go leon.
Unleashed: This heralded Jet Li's return to good movies from the americanised crap he had been doing previously. This was just a good martial arts kick but film :P
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: Love Jhonny Depp much prefered this one to the original had a kinda evil twist that was cool.
Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Wererabbit: HAHAHA who couldnt love this move its wallice and grommit the good old english chums haha so funny hehe.
The 40 Year Old Virgin: This was much much funnier than i had expected. Kinda american pie funny but a lot more sexual hehe really really funny.
Night Watch. Russian Film that was great. Had the most unexpected ending ever and i cant wait for the 2nd and 3rd parts.
Doom: Bleah pretty average film but i loved the FPS bit it was almost exactly like playing the game which is pretty cool and the rock still kicks arse.
Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang: Never heard of this before and didnt expect much but it was really really excellent probably one of the better comedies of the year. Val Kilmer was excellent and the chick was pretty darn good looking.
Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire: LOVED this movie being the nerd i am hehe easily the best out of the 4 but could use an extended edition DVD like no film before it :P
King Kong: Saw this today and was disapointed didnt really get into it that much and found it dragged on. Was expecting more dinosaur vs Kong fighting actually.
"EDIT" Serenity: was a pretty decent movie. Had seen some eps of firefly previously so i knew what it was all about etc etc. Wasnt too bad and loved it when they put all that shit on there ship that made it look cooler :P and when the chick kicked all the "isert name here" arses with the axes :P
Still to come are the dick and jane one wiht jim carey which should be a laugh and Chronicles of Narnia which looks mind blowing but i doubt will be as good as LOTR :P
All in all a decent year for movies

What can i say....IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!
I love harry potter books and movies and this was easily the best movie yet. Exactly how i imagined it in the book. The higher rating also was easily evident and it was well worth it and im hoping that the next few continue in the more dark adult nature that this one had.

Well my day really started yesterday as i awoke early to have a shower and ready myself for the perilous drive to my dads house with steff. This was all going well until i call her and find out her parents are having a n argument with her so we can no longer make it.
Ohh well not that great a loss that just means more need for speed :D
so i proceeded to play need for speed for a few hours before i was due at my aunts house for a family thingo mabob which i basically spent the entire time in the pool :)
Then it was on to jimmys yellow party. It was a yellow party as the only white people there until it was basically over were me, matt, some really ugly girl, and a girl that wasnt too bad looking. Well i got there 9 and we drunk and bummed around and played fight night and yeah had a good time.
Without any sleep and still most likely over the limit i drove home at 5:30 in the morning and luckily there were no cops. Ahh wat good luck i had this morning.
Then i went to sleep and my day was over. |

Well today was another great day of nothingness. I basically sat around and played need for speed most wanted all day becuase its a fantastic game.
Tommorow i have a busy day though, got to see my dad, then my aunts from melbourne and perth and finally onto jimmys party which should be a laugh considering how unorganised he is and how many people are expected to be rocking up.
Ohh and people better not forget that tommorow is sir Jickles birthday!!!! |

Well today will be the official opening of my very own LJ after having to post under anyonomous ever since i have taken an interest into jickles LJ which is fantastic and is always a good laugh.
Well seeing as this is my first entry i will be brief as today i did nothing.
